What happens when you believe you are too weak, too inexperienced, or too uncertain to make a difference?
A contemporary inspirational story exploring courage, vulnerability, responsibility, and trusting God when we feel unprepared.
Coming Soon on AmazonMany people recognize a need around them but hesitate to respond because they feel inadequate.
When God Calls the Unqualified follows Esther, Joshua, Comfort, and other fictional present-day characters as they confront questions of courage, responsibility, uncertainty, and service.
Their experiences are imagined, but the questions they face are familiar: What if I am not capable? What if I fail? What if helping someone else requires more courage than I possess?
The story draws spiritual inspiration from Moses' early experiences in Exodus 1–4 and related New Testament teachings.
Rather than promising easy success, this novel invites readers to consider how faith, wisdom, humility, and the willingness to seek help can shape their choices.
Can our weaknesses become opportunities to seek wisdom, develop character, and learn to depend on God?
What does it mean to make responsible decisions despite uncertainty, fear, or limited experience?
How can compassion, wise boundaries, and practical service help us care for vulnerable people?
Exodus 1–4
Moses' early life and calling provide the biblical foundation for this book.
Moses encountered suffering, uncertainty, responsibility, and questions about his own ability to fulfill the task before him.
His experiences offer a starting point for reflecting on courage and God's guidance without confusing the biblical narrative with the fictional characters' experiences.
Important: Esther, Joshua, Comfort, and the present-day characters are fictional. The biblical episodes are drawn from Exodus 1–4 and supporting New Testament passages.
Readers are encouraged to return to Scripture and examine the biblical passages in context.
You may feel that your weaknesses disqualify you from helping anyone.
My prayer is that these pages encourage you to trust Christ, care for the vulnerable, ask for help, and choose courage guided by wisdom.
There is no need to pretend that every hardship ends quickly or that every opportunity comes from God.
Our responsibility is to respond with faith, humility, compassion, and careful judgment.
